A lawsuit was filed against Safiye İnci, who was arrested due to insulting Atatürk in a video she recorded at Anıtkabir (Monumental Tomb of Atatürk) and shared on the social media. The indictment, Accepted by Ankara 28th Criminal Court of First Instance, charges İnci with ‘publicly insulting the memory of Atatürk.’ The court further issued for İnci to remain arrested.
