The Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into “Şeytantepe,” a documentary by 140journos about the killing of eight-year-old Narin Güran. The investigation was opened following an application by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team, on the grounds of “activities aimed at discrediting investigation and prosecution processes.” It was stated that the investigation would examine people involved in the filming, production, and financing of the documentary, which was published on YouTube on 11 April, as well as financial transactions between those people.
