The Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an ex officio investigation into a social media post by an account called “Yörükeli Hareketi Antalya” that said “Kurds are responsible for the fires” in relation to forest fires. Prosecutors assessed the post as “inciting the public to hatred and hostility” and applied to the Antalya Duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace to have the content blocked.
