IHD Mersin Branch reacted against the suspension of female students at Mersin University KYK Dormitory for Girls who protested the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu. Emphasizing that the disciplinary investigations were conducted unlawfully and only female students were punished, IHD stated that these practices violate the right to housing and education. The association called for the immediate withdrawal of the sentences.
