Police carried out an operation against Seferihisar Municipality on June 17 as part of an investigation conducted by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Six people, including Deputy Mayor İbrahim Gökhan Pehlivan, were detained. The investigation covered allegations of bribery and zoning irregularities.
