Four students were detained after carrying LGBTI+ flags as they marched to the Faculty of Education building, where the disciplinary investigation meeting was going to be held. The students wanted to support their friends, who faced a disciplinary investigation by trustee rector Melih Bulu. The Boğaziçi University students wanted their friends to be released and the police attacked 12 students in total.
