Literary artists have launched a common declaration against discriminative, sexist and homophobic speech lately published on SabitFikir magazine. The declaration pointed out that a publishing mentality that takes the speech of political power as a guide to itself is becoming widespread. “Discriminative, sexist, homophobic speech is not acceptable – no matter where or whom it comes from. Our opinion is valid for all publications we contribute with our writings,” the declaration said.
