Access to 135 news articles about a deputy minister and his wife has been blocked by court order. The Istanbul 8th Criminal Court of Peace issued the access ban on February 4, 2026, citing “protection of national security and public order” as the reason. It was reported that the access restriction decision covered numerous news articles and content published by various media outlets. Following the decision, access to most of the relevant news articles was blocked in Turkey.
