The lawsuit filed against six people, who were detained during the 2018 Istanbul LGBTI+ Pride March, was concluded. Istanbul 12th Criminal Court of First Instance issued the acquittal of all defendants from the charge of “participating in illegal meeting and demonstration.” On the other hand, the court sentenced one person to five months of imprisonment due to “resisting against public officer” and another to 2 months and fifteen days of imprisonment due to “endangering traffic safety.” Announcements of all verdicts were deferred.
