Impunity in the Metin Lokumcu case

The Trabzon 2nd High Criminal Court acquitted 13 police officers in the trial of the case related to the death of Metin Lokumcu, who was killed by a tear gas canister used by the police on 31 May 2011 in Hopa during the protests that took place during the visit of then Prime Minister Erdoğan to the region.
