Peace Academics: “We demand unconditional re-employment”

As the number of acquitted “Peace Academics” following the right violation verdict of the Constitutional Court reached 329, the Academics for Peace Initiative made a written declaration after the three-and-a-half year period passed after the initial launch of the petition. “If Turkey is still a State of Constitutional Law, 549 signatory academics, including 406 dismissed with Statutory Decrees with their passports seized, must be unconditionally re-employed in the institutions they were working at before January 11, 2016,” stated the Initiative.
