Access was blocked to social media influencer Mika Can Raun’s social media accounts as part of the “My Family Is Safe” operation carried out on the instructions of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. In the same operation, action was taken against 162 people, 9 associations and 13 businesses in 15 provinces centered in Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Aydın and Mersin. Police and gendarmerie teams carried out simultaneous detention, search and seizure operations and seized numerous digital materials. Access blocking orders were also issued for other social media accounts and websites as part of the operation.
