Comedian Deniz Göktaş was arrested again on charges of “insulting the President” and “inciting the public to hatred and hostility,” after a previous decision had ordered his release on those charges. Göktaş had been ordered released on 28 August but, before leaving prison, was arrested this time on a charge of “praising crime and criminals.” With the latest decision, Göktaş remained in detention under three separate charges.
