Police intervened as workers from Elazığ Eti Gümüş and Doruk Madencilik, both affiliated with Yıldızlar SSS Holding, continued their protest outside the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources over unpaid receivables. Police detained Bağımsız Maden-İş General President Gökay Çakır, Organizing Specialist Başaran Aksu, and other unionists at the scene. The union said the protests would continue until the ministry fulfilled its previous commitments and the workers’ demands were met.
