Detainees on a hunger strike at the Antalya Döşemealtı Prison were hospitalized on April 13 after their health deteriorated. According to lawyers, authorities forcibly intervened with Gürkan Türkoğlu at the hospital on April 20 and kept him handcuffed in the intensive care unit. Another detainee, Tahsin Sağaltıcı, stopped taking fluids in response to this intervention.
