On April 20, the ÖHD released a report in Antalya detailing violations related to the 2026 Newroz celebrations. According to the report, at least 253 people were detained, 63 were arrested, and 112 were placed under judicial supervision. Authorities banned symbols in many locations, intervened against participants, and detainees were subjected to physical abuse and mistreatment during their detention.
