On the third anniversary of the February 6, 2023 earthquakes centered in Maraş, CHP MPs Ali Öztunç, Mehmet Tahtasız, and Deniz Yavuz Yılmaz attended a memorial program held in Pazarcık district. Following the memorial held in the courtyard of the district governor’s office, a march was organized from the district center to the clock tower. During the walk, police warned the group after they chanted the slogans “No forgetting, no forgiving, no reconciliation.” A woman who was a victim of the earthquake and participated in the commemoration felt faint during the walk. The commemoration ended after carnations were placed at the clock tower.
