Access to numerous news articles mentioning AKP Deputy Chair Sevilay Tuncer Uludağ has been blocked. The Freedom of Expression Association (İFÖD) announced that the decision was made by the Istanbul 6th Criminal Court of Peace on the grounds of “protecting national security and public order.” The news articles blocked for access reportedly mentioned that Uludağ was the owner of the company carrying out the controversial restoration work on Galata Tower. It was reported that the decision covered news articles published between 2020 and 2025.
