The Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP), the Socialist Women’s Assembly (SKM), the Federation of Socialist Youth Associations (SGDF), the Active News Agency (ETHA), DİSK/Limter-İş, Polen Ecology, and BEKSAV were targeted in Istanbul-based operations involving raids on homes and institutions in 22 provinces. Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 93 people were detained in the operations. Among those detained were ESP Co-Chair Murat Çepni, numerous party officials, journalists, trade unionists, and lawyers. It was reported that the door of the ETHA office in Istanbul was broken down, the agency’s equipment was confiscated, and access to the agency’s X accounts was blocked.
