Homes of many politicians and journalists were raided by the police early in the morning within the investigation started by Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) and the Socialist Youth Associations Federation (SGDF). Many people were detained, including the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) Co-Chair Şahin Tümüklü, Socialist Youth Associations Federation (SGDF) Co-Chair Alev Özkiraz and Etkin News Agency (ETHA) reporter Pınar Gayıp.
