Mothers opening a banner that stated, “Mothers demand peace,” and performing a sit-in protest in front of the AKP Diyarbakır Provincial building, were taken under police blockade. The police also prevented press members from approaching the building to follow the protest. Mothers were forced inside vehicles after performing a sit-in protest for a while and were attempted to be fended off the AKP Provincial building. However, three of the mothers not wanting to get in the vehicles were detained by the police.
