Two of the four workers, who started a re-employment protest after being fired from Şişli Municipality, were detained on the 667th day of their resistance. Turan Aktaş and Mehmet Tunçay, who were detained on charges of “terrorist organization membership”, decided to march from Istanbul to the Republican People’s Party (CHP) headquarters in Ankara to voice their demands, and set off a week ago. While Ramazan Çelik, who started marching with them, continues to march to Ankara, Sakil Yazar continues to protest in front of Şişli Municipality building.
