The police intervened against the demonstration for “justice” performed by Emine Şenyaşar at Urfa Courthouse after losing her husband and two sons with an attack of Justice and Development Party (AKP) MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and his security guards. Emine Şenyaşar and her son, Ferit Şenyaşar were beaten and detained before the visit of People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Pervin Buldan for their demonstration. The mother and son were detained due to “insulting a public officer.”
