Academic and writer Selim Temo, who was dismissed from his position at Mardin Artuklu University with a Statutory Decree, was acquitted in the lawsuit he was on trial for three years. Temo hasn’t even testified within the lawsuit. The academic-writer announced the verdict of acquittal on social media by saying: “I was acquitted of the charges against me in the lawsuit, whose indictment was prepared by someone who was suspended due to ‘FETÖ’ charges. The indictment was being transferred from one place to another for three years and I was acquitted without even testifying. I had faced an imprisonment sentence from 1.5 to 7.5 years. The legal mindset is superb recently!”
