Journalists Dilgeş Ruvanas and Kadri Esen, who were detained in February 2016 while following the news in Şırnak İdil and were prosecuted on charges of “terrorist organization membership” in Şırnak 1st Assize Court, were acquitted. The Prosecutor’s Office appealed against the decision. The file of journalist Ferzan Çotak, who was tried within the same case, has been separated.
