Istanbul 33rd Assize Court sentenced photo reporter Çağdaş Erdoğan, who was on trial due to his social media posts, to 1 year and eight months of imprisonment due to “making successive illegal organisation propaganda.” Erdoğan had been detained in Kadıköy due to taking a photograph of the social facilities, allegedly belonging to the Turkish National Intelligence Agency, and was arrested on September 2nd, 2017.
