A disciplinary investigation was opened against two students at the Middle East Technical University (METU) with the allegations of ‘terrorist organization membership,’ ‘making terroristic organization propaganda,’ ‘insulting the President,’ ‘incitement to resentment and hostility’ and ‘denigration of the military organization of state.’ The administrative investigation was revealed to be related to the police operation conducted on February 22nd in Ankara. Students, who were taken into custody during the operation, have been released after standing trial at the court.
