Turkey prevented the entrance of Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE) election observer Leftist Party MP Andrej Hunko inside the country. Hunko indicated that the reason for the prevention was stated as a “terror support charge” against him, saying, “The country inviting a board of observers may not determine the delegations.” The MP also stated that this step taken by Turkey is unlawful.

Similarly, Turkey prevented the entrance of Swedish Green Party MP Jabar Amin in the country as well, who arrived as an OSCE observer. Amin stated that he only found out about the entrance ban in the country during his passport control at the airport in Istanbul, that the police officers have seized his passport and informing him that “the order is from the authorities.”
