On October 30, new arrests were made in the “criminal organization” investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office against Ekrem İmamoğlu. The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office issued arrest warrants for four individuals working at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s Smart City Department and Communication Coordination Center on charges of “illegally disseminating personal data” and “membership in a criminal organization.” The Prosecutor’s Office alleged that the data of millions of citizens was leaked to two countries through the “İstanbul Senin” and “İBB Hanem” applications.
