On March 25, 2026, the Ministry of the Interior conducted operations targeting ISIS in 24 provinces, in coordination with the General Command of the Gendarmerie and public prosecutors’ offices. Provincial Gendarmerie Commands detained 88 individuals during the operations. The suspects were alleged to be ISIS members, to have provided financial support to the organization, and to have engaged in propaganda activities via social media.
