The application of former Union of Judges and Prosecutors (YARSAV) Chairman Ömer Faruk Eminağaoğlu was concluded at the European Court of Human Rights and the court issued that Eminağaoğlu’s right to fair trial, right to privacy as well as his right to freedom of expression were violated. Eminağaoğlu’s phone calls had been unlawfully tapped; his social media posts and statements had been made subject to disciplinary investigations against him in 2012 and he had been exiled to Çankırı.
