The indictment against Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan has been accepted. Özcan is facing up to three years in prison on charges of “blackmail” against municipal employee Öznur Ç. The investigation began with mutual complaints, with both parties accusing each other of threats and blackmail. With the acceptance of the indictment, the court has decided to proceed with the trial.
