A 30-year-old individual identified as Ü.B. has been investigated for sharing a clip from the Tarlabaşı segment of Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan’s “İstanbul Hesabı” program, aired on the Gain platform, on social media. The investigation, conducted under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, reported that the post was being examined on the grounds of “insulting the Turkish nation, the Republic of Turkey, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and the Government of the Republic of Turkey.” It was noted that the footage in question was taken from the program, which was first aired on February 3, 2022, and uploaded to Gain’s YouTube account on January 27, 2026.
