As debates over the CHP convention continue, it has been alleged that the party leadership filed a complaint with the Ankara Governor’s Office regarding an event that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel is scheduled to attend in Ankara on May 30. According to the allegations, the CHP Central Headquarters described the event as an “illegal rally” and requested that it not be permitted. The CHP has not issued an official statement regarding the report.
