The acquittal decree for actress Berna Laçin, who was prosecuted due to “denigrating the religious values of the public” through her post on Twitter against death penalty, was approved by the appeal court as well. The Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office had objected against the acquittal decree issued by Istanbul Anatolian 59th Criminal Court of First Instance.
