Allegations of torture against those taken into custody during the State of Emergency were documented for the first time by being photographed.
4 people inside an automobile, which was stopped by the police in the night of May 16th in Bağcılar, Istanbul, were taken into custody due to the pump rifle in the car. The four people were taken to Bağcılar 100. Yıl Kemalpaşa Police Station, being exposed to rough torture before interrogation. A criminal complaint was made against the incident and photographs were included in the investigation file. The photographs depict those taken into custody being handcuffed to radiator pipes and exposed to violence.
