A lawsuit was filed against Evrensel Newspaper writer Kamil Tekin Sürek due to his column, entitled, “Fascist Dictatorship.” The indictment, accepted by Bakırköy 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance, charges Sürek with insulting President Erdoğan with his expressions: “In fascist dictatorships, lawsuits would be filed against you with your slightest criticism against the government, you would be dismissed from profession and even be announced a terrorist.
