Journalist Sultan Eylem Keleş, who was prosecuted on charges of “insulting the President” for three separate social media posts from 2014-15, was sentenced to 1 year, 2 months and 17 days in prison, without even being taken to court, in the lawsuit filed against her at the Izmir 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance.
