Aslı Erdoğan, a columnist for the previously shut-down Özgür Gündem Daily and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board, was acquitted in the lawsuit filed against her at the Istanbul 23rd Assize Court on the charge of “making propaganda for a terrorist organization”.
