Karar Daily’s Editor-In-Chief fired editor Özge Kar Odabaşı, who wrote “Come on, with God’s will”, and the journalist was targeted on social media. Koç University student Baran Egeli was detained on charges of “insulting the President” for posting “Corona has come… Great Atatürk, the Lord of the worlds, you know the subject”. Journalist Ertürk Yılmaz in Izmir was summoned to testify on the charge of “insulting the President” for his post on “We trust you, COVID-19, fulfill your duty properly”.
