Mehmet Şerif Çamçı, President of Ivy Association for Combating Poverty and Sustainable Development, which operated in Diyarbakır and was shut-down with a Statutory Decree in 2016, was convicted in the lawsuit filed against him within the scope of the investigation against the Democratic Society Congress. Diyarbakır 4th Assize Court sentenced Çamcı to 6 years and 3 months in prison on the charge of terrorist organisation membership.
