People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Central Executive Council (MYK) member and Youth Assembly Co-Spokesperson Tuna Aydın, who was recently detained within the operation in Istanbul, was arrested on November 10 with the allegation of ‘illegal organization membership’ and was imprisoned.
Issuing Aydın’s arrest, Istanbul 7th Criminal Judicature of Peace showed the suspect’s “potential to commit the crimes” claimed by the Prosecutor. The verdict stated, “the suspect may be involved in the youth organization of the illegal organization with responsible rank in organization and activity; may have participated in the illegal organization to obtain armed and ideological education; that he may have connections with various illegal organization members and may have initiative in order transfers from the illegal organization.”
