Istanbul Bakırköy District Governorate banned all kinds of meetings and demonstration marches between September 02-06. A rally was planned to be held in Bakırköy, Istanbul on Sunday, September 5 with the slogan “Equality against discrimination, peace against war, brotherhood against racism” within September 1, World Peace Day. On the other hand, the Eskişehir Governorate banned all protests and events in the province for 15 days prior to September 1, World Peace Day, based on “disinformation activities on social media platforms” and “Coronavirus epidemic”.
