Writer Hasan Basri Aydın, who resides outside of Turkey but came back to homeland due to his health issues, was detained due to a warrant issued against him in an old file he was on trial due to “insulting Cemil Çiçek.” The 90-year-old writer was arrested in the court he was taken to. As he was entering Silivri Prison, the file was handed to the Prosecutor’s Office and he was released at the last minute.
