In the reasoned decision on the verdict on October 10, Ankara Train Station Massacre, which led to 103 people losing their lives, the court persisted the attitude that would cover up public responsibility in the prosecution process; ignoring the neglect and responsibility of the government on the massacre.
The reasoned decision did not include the lack of precautions taken by public officers against the intelligence warning on an attack, the Ministry of the Interior’s Inspector Report, files from Assize Courts in Gaziantep, records of many phone calls, proofs revealing that soldiers and police officers were involved in border crossings and other documents not sent to the court by Gaziantep Security authorities. The decree only mentioned the verdict of non-prosecution issued by the Prosecutor’s Office on public officers.
