The Ankara 9th High Criminal Court announced its verdict on June 5 in the case regarding the bomb attack that claimed the lives of 53 people in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay on May 11, 2013. The court sentenced Memet Gezer, Temir Dükancı, and Cengiz Sertel to 53 consecutive life sentences with aggravated penalties. The court also imposed a total of 3,921 years in prison for various charges and ruled that the defendants remain in custody.
