The indictment prepared against METU student Eylül Dumanlı, who has been detained for 27 days due to a tweet criticizing the operation against Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, demands a prison sentence of 3 to 7.5 years on charges of “public incitement to commit a crime”. Dumanlı was detained 40 minutes after she sent her tweet and was arrested the same day and sent to prison. The first hearing will be held on August 8 at Antalya Criminal Court of First Instance.
