Two high school students protesting the MESEM application and child labor deaths were taken into custody from their homes late at night. Police teams first took the students to the Vatan Security Directorate, then to the Üsküdar Children’s Branch. The high school students were released to give statements to the prosecutor’s office. The students stated that they were protesting the deaths of at least 87 children in workplace accidents in 2025 and that they were fighting against child labor.
