As part of the investigation into Can Holding and Ciner Group’s Park Holding, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) appointed trustees to several companies, including Kasımpaşa Sportif Faaliyetler A.Ş. The Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that there was a strong suspicion that the proceeds of crime were laundered through financial and commercial ties between the two holdings. With the decision taken under Article 133 of the Criminal Procedure Code, trustees were also appointed to companies such as Transworld International Transportation, Turktab, Kuranlar Petrol, Park Elektrik, Konya Ilgın Elektrik, Park Sigorta, Ciner Turizm, Etz Maden and Söğütözü Import Export. It was reported that the investigation will continue with the charges of money laundering and fraud within the scope of organizational activities.
