The trial of T24 writer Tolga Şardan on charges of “publicly disseminating misleading information” and “publicly humiliating the judicial organs of the state” for his article titled “MİT’s judicial report to the Presidency” was adjourned until November 20, 2025. Şardan’s lawyers argued that the article was an act of journalism and that not revealing the source of the news is an internationally recognized right. At the hearing, the fate of the investigation against the judges and prosecutors mentioned in the letter will be asked.
